Care Talent Pipeline

A better-prepared route into care.

Work with Eagles Consultancy to shape pre-employment learning around genuine care roles, prepare local adults for the realities of the sector and meet suitable candidates through a structured employer partnership.

  • Employer-shaped preparation
  • You make every hiring decision
01
Built around genuine roles

The job, working pattern and service expectations shape the preparation.

02
Preparation before introduction

Learners build sector understanding, employability and essential confidence first.

03
Recruitment control stays with you

You decide who progresses, completes checks and receives any offer of employment.

Start with the opportunity

We design backwards from the role.

A useful pipeline begins with a clear picture of the work. Tell us who you hope to recruit, what the role involves and what tends to make a new starter succeed. We can then shape a realistic programme and agree the employer involvement required.

  • Recurring care vacancies
  • Hard-to-fill shifts
  • Values-led recruitment
  • Local entry routes
  • More confident applicants

Candidate preparation

Preparation that reflects what care work asks of people.

The final content depends on the role, cohort and funding route. A programme can bring together the following four areas without treating a short course as proof that someone is ready to be employed.

01 · SECTOR

Understanding care and its values

  • What adult social care involves
  • Dignity, choice and person-centred support
  • Professional conduct, boundaries and confidentiality
  • Values, attitudes and realistic role expectations
02 · EMPLOYABILITY

Applying and interviewing well

  • Understanding the vacancy and person specification
  • Applications, CVs and evidence-based examples
  • Values-based interview preparation
  • Reliability, communication and workplace expectations
03 · CORE SKILLS

English and digital confidence

  • Professional vocabulary and clear communication
  • Reading instructions and recording information
  • Email, Microsoft Teams and online applications
  • Data protection and safe digital practice
04 · DEVELOPMENT

Introductory learning and progression

  • Relevant entry-level or Level 1 learning where suitable
  • Safeguarding and duty-of-care foundations
  • Personal development planning
  • Routes into qualifications after employment
Designed with the employer—not copied from a catalogue. We agree the intended roles and recruitment process before confirming the cohort. Participation or completion never guarantees an interview, placement or job unless that commitment is explicitly included in the agreed programme.

Your involvement

Candidates learn more when employers are visible.

You do not need to deliver the training. Your role is to make the opportunity real: explain the work, clarify expectations and provide an agreed route into your recruitment process.

Contribute to a cohort

Interview partner

Meet suitable programme completers

Help shape the preparation, introduce your organisation and provide an agreed interview or recruitment opportunity.

  • Share real role information and entry criteria
  • Join an employer talk or question-and-answer session
  • Review agreed candidate information
  • Provide timely outcomes after interviews
Funding is checked before anything is promised Some eligible cohorts may be supported through an adult-skills or employment programme. Other arrangements may require an employer-funded contribution or a bespoke quotation.
Eligibility applies

The Care Talent Pipeline does not have a single published price because cohort size, programme length, learner eligibility, employer involvement and available funding all affect the delivery model. Eagles Consultancy will confirm responsibilities, costs and conditions in writing before launch.

How it works

From workforce need to recruitment decision.

01

Define the opportunity

We agree the roles, criteria, likely vacancies, timings and employer commitment.

02

Prepare the cohort

Participants complete agreed sector, employability and core-skills preparation.

03

Make introductions

Suitable completers enter the agreed interview or recruitment process.

04

You decide

Your organisation assesses candidates, completes checks and makes every hiring decision.

A coordinated process

Clear information at each decision point.

The aim is to reduce avoidable uncertainty for both employer and participant. We agree what information can be shared, when it will be provided and who is responsible for each next step.

  • Agreed role and cohort brief
  • Programme content and learning outcomes
  • Attendance and completion information
  • Candidate introductions with appropriate consent
  • Interview or recruitment timetable
  • Named contacts and agreed responsibilities
  • Employer outcome feedback
  • End-of-cohort review and recommendations

Prepare

One agreed employer brief

The role, criteria and recruitment route are clear before learner preparation begins.

Introduce

Relevant, consented information

Candidate information is shared for an agreed purpose and within the confirmed process.

Decide

Employer-led selection

You assess suitability, complete safer-recruitment checks and decide whether to appoint.

An important distinction

A talent pipeline—not a promise of hires.

Eagles Consultancy prepares learners and coordinates agreed employer engagement. We are not acting as a recruitment agency, an employment business or the employer. Your organisation retains control of every recruitment and appointment decision.

We cannot guarantee learner numbers, candidate suitability, attendance, programme completion, interview performance or successful hires. A completed programme is evidence of participation or achievement—not a substitute for safer recruitment, workplace induction or assessment of competence.

Recruit, develop and retain

Connect future recruitment with existing staff development.

The Care Workforce Partnership combines planned team training with a workforce review, qualification support, quarterly reporting and a named employer contact across a 12-month programme. A Talent Pipeline can be explored alongside it where your service has recurring recruitment needs.

Questions before partnering

Useful answers for managers.

Is Eagles Consultancy acting as a recruitment agency?

No. We prepare learners and coordinate agreed introductions or employer activity. The care provider runs its own recruitment process, completes all required checks and makes every hiring decision.

Do we have to guarantee an interview or a job?

The commitment depends on the agreed programme. Some funded routes, including a Sector-based Work Academy Programme, normally include a guaranteed interview or help with the employer's recruitment process. Any commitment will be confirmed before launch. No programme requires you to appoint someone who does not meet your selection criteria.

Are candidate numbers or successful hires guaranteed?

No. Recruitment, eligibility, attendance, completion and interview outcomes all affect the result. We agree realistic targets and keep the employer informed, but we do not promise a fixed number of suitable candidates or hires.

What will participants complete?

Content is shaped around the intended role. It may include an introduction to adult social care, employability and interview preparation, English and digital support, and relevant introductory learning or qualifications. The confirmed programme will state what is accredited and what is non-accredited.

Can a workplace visit or placement be included?

Potentially. It must have a clear purpose and suitable arrangements for access, supervision, confidentiality, safety, insurance and the people using the service. It will only be advertised after all parties have confirmed what can safely and appropriately be offered.

Is the pipeline free for employers?

Some eligible cohorts may be supported through adult-skills or employment funding, while bespoke or additional activity may be employer-funded. Availability depends on the learner group, location, programme rules, Eagles Consultancy's delivery arrangements and available funds. We confirm any cost before you commit.

Who completes pre-employment and safer-recruitment checks?

The recruiting employer. This includes identity and right-to-work checks, references, employment history, required declarations and any eligible DBS check. Eagles Consultancy may support coordination where agreed, but does not make the employer's decision or certify that a candidate is suitable for a care role.

Can successful candidates continue into recognised qualifications?

Yes, where a suitable qualification, learner and funding route are available. Employed staff can be reviewed for adult-care, specialist, English, maths or digital learning after appointment. Explore care qualifications and funding

Tell us about the roles you expect to recruit.

Share the role, location, likely vacancies and timescale. We will explore whether an employer-shaped cohort is viable and explain the commitments, costs and next steps before anything is promoted to learners.
