Team training for care providers
Training your team can use on their next shift.
Practical, needs-led workshops for residential care, domiciliary care, supported living and community-based services—delivered around your priorities, your people and your rotas.
- At your service or live online
- Half-day or full-day
We agree the need, audience and intended outcome before shaping the session.
Facilitated discussion, realistic scenarios and guided reflection—not passive clicking.
Managers receive attendance, learning evidence and clear recommendations for follow-up.
Needs-led by design
Start with the situation—not the course title.
Tell us what is happening in your service, where confidence is uneven or what managers need to improve. We will recommend a focused session, combine related themes where useful and agree what good follow-up looks like.
- New starters need consistency
- Records need improving
- A team needs confidence
- Practice needs refreshing
- A service is changing

How it works
From workforce need to useful next step.

Tell us about the service, team, current challenge and outcome you want.
Shape the session
We agree learning outcomes, examples, format, date and practical arrangements.
Deliver the learning
Your team takes part in a live, facilitated workshop linked to everyday practice.
Evidence and follow up
You receive records and recommendations to support supervision and further development.

Records that show participation and changes in knowledge or confidence.
After
Action—not just completion
Practical prompts for supervision, workplace observation or further development.
An important distinction
Training can support competence. It does not replace assessment.
Live workshops can strengthen knowledge, confidence and reflective practice. The employer remains responsible for deciding what training is mandatory for each role and for assessing competence in the workplace.
Our training can support a provider's wider workforce-development responsibilities, but it does not guarantee regulatory compliance, a particular inspection outcome or competence in a practical task.
Need training throughout the year?
Move from one-off sessions to one workforce plan.
The Care Workforce Partnership combines planned team training with a workforce review, qualification support, quarterly reporting and a named employer contact across a 12-month programme.
Questions before booking
Useful answers for managers.
Can training be delivered at our premises?
Yes. Sessions can be delivered at your service or live online. We confirm travel, room, technology and accessibility arrangements in the proposal.
Can we choose more than one subject?
Yes. Two related subjects can often be combined into a full day. We will make sure the scope remains realistic and the learning does not become too broad to be useful.
What is the minimum booking?
Standard pricing is based on a minimum of 10 participants: from £300 for a half day or £600 for a full day. Speak to us if your team is smaller; we can confirm whether a minimum-fee booking or shared arrangement is suitable.
Will staff receive a certificate?
Standard workshops include a certificate of attendance. This records participation; it is not an accredited qualification or proof of workplace competence unless the proposal explicitly states otherwise.
Can the same session be repeated for different shifts?
Yes. Subject to the brief, a half-day booking can be split into two repeated 90-minute sessions. Longer or additional repeats are quoted according to the delivery required.
Does the training make our service CQC compliant?
No provider should promise that. Our workshops can support staff development and training evidence, but your organisation remains responsible for role-specific learning, supervision, workplace competence and compliance with all applicable requirements.
Do you offer accredited care qualifications as well?
Yes. Recognised qualification pathways are handled separately from short team workshops, with eligibility, assessment requirements, delivery and funding reviewed before enrolment. Explore workforce qualifications
Discuss your training need
Tell us what needs to improve—not which course you think you need.
We will help you define the audience, intended outcome and most useful delivery format before preparing a clearly scoped quotation.
