What an amazing course that I had at Eagles Consultancy! My role as a teaching assistant was challenging as it provided a wealth of experience in the school. I was motivated to help students with maths and English. I have developed lots of knowledge and skills about how to deal with challenging behaviour, and how to provide comfortable environments for pupils to learn. How to help unwell pupils by taking them to the nurse and following first aid instructions.
I also learned how to provide support to teachers in the classroom as well as working with small groups. I have experienced marking work too. Moreover, I learned how to motivate pupils and encourage them, how to supervise pupils during trips or activities like PE.
This course has had a great impact on me. I have gained confidence while working in a classroom and good experience with a wide range of academic abilities. This course has provided me with remarkable skills that might help me to progress to teacher training in the future.
